Led by conductor Sarah Ioannides, the Santa Fe Pro Musica Orchestra performs music by Manuel de Falla, Joseph Bologne (Chevalier de Saint-Georges), and Mozart, with tenor Nicholas Phan joining for a newly commissioned work by Pulitzer Prize–winning composer Aaron Jay Kernis.
“Ioannides used her whole frame to channel the music … Her body, her hands and her facial expressions were constantly in motion, as she transmitted the music to the musicians who in turn brought it to life.”—Tacoma Weekly
The Boston Classical Review says Phan’s “ability to evince the bittersweet essence of each song was remarkable, as was his effortless projection in the exposed, upper register moments.”
Meet the Music | Join us one hour before each concert to explore the music with KHFM’s Brent Stevens and our guest artists. Included with ticket purchase.
Tickets $22–$92
