Wild & Scenic Film Festival

You can join in person or virtually. The in-person venue is the brand-new pavilion at the Audubon Center bordering the municipal watershed. Large folding doors on 2 sides bring the outdoors inside with panoramic views of wooded slopes, and provide cross-ventilation.

Our first film session will have inspiring stories of environmental advocacy and restoration. The second session will give practical ways anyone can take action for the environment. We hope you hear, loud and clear, the call to engage with nature and work to support our watershed.

Hybrid festival goers will hear talks by former Executive Director Andy Otto and incoming ED Mori Hensley. Board President Steven Hamp will also speak, and as a docent at the Audubon Center Steven will lead an exclusive opportunity for a walk and talk on the Center grounds before the films start.

A volunteer opportunity will be described to help train the next generation of environmental stewards while seeing first hand the upper municipal watershed that was closed to the public in 1932.

Tickets will be available at santafewatershed.org/wild-scenic-film-festival-2022 on or about August 1st.

In person tickets will sell out quickly. The virtual event will begin with a livestream simultaneous with the in person part. In person and virtual participants will be able to stream the livestream on demand for 7 days following the Festival. You can watch on any connected device, or cast the livestream from a computer or tablet to watch on a TV.
