Dimitrov's music has a strong blues influence but does not try to imitate traditional blues. Instead, his songs stay true to his own generation. New Mexico Music Award winner in the blues genre for a number of years, Tiho's music has attracted people beyond the state.
In 2013, his participation in the Crossroads Guitar Festival completion got him to the top 40 out of 2,500 acts. In addition, in 2014, Dimitrov won the Guitar Center/Ernie Ball King of the Blues regional competition for New Mexico.
He has appeared on stage with Guitar Shorty, Bobby Keys of the Rolling Stones, Larry Mitchell, John Kurzweg, Star Nayea, Soulman Sam, Horace Alexander Young (The Temptations, BB King, Bill Withers), Jono Manson, and others.
