FREE PREMIERE SCREENING AUGUST 18TH
We’re thrilled to announce that on Thursday August 18th we will be hosting a special preview screening of new television series House of the Dragon, inspired by our very own George R.R. Martin’s novel Fire And Blood!
This is a first come first seated event and FREE to all who are 18+ unless accompanied by an adult.
Showtimes are 5pm (Spanish) and 7pm (English)
HOW TO ACQUIRE A WRISTBAND
We will be handing out wristbands day-of on August 18th, but please arrive early to lineup as seating is limited and not all are guaranteed entry. Wristbands will be numbered with assigned seating based off of where you are in line.
4pm — we will hand out wristbands for our 5pm Spanish version of HOTD
6pm — we will hand out wristbands for out 7pm English version of HOTD
Once receiving your wristband that guarantees you entry to the House of the Dragon screening, you will be asked to stay on site—either at Beastly Books for beer/sake, shopping and surprise gifts with purchase OR enjoy our specialty cocktails at the Jean Cocteau Cinema. 15 minutes prior to your showtime we will close the doors to the theater and you will not be allowed re-entry.
We encourage everyone to cosplay and dress on theme for this momentous event!

SYNOPSIS
The reign of House Targaryen begins. House of the Dragon, the prequel to Game of Thrones, is coming to HBO and HBO Max on August 21. Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, which is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen.
Paddy Considine (HBO’s The Third Day and The Outsider), Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint (It’s a Sin, Doctor Who), Eve Best, Sonoya Mizuno, Fabien Frankel and Rhys Ifans to star. Additional cast members include Milly Alcock, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Emily Carey, Harry Collett, Ryan Corr, Tom Glynn-Carney, Jefferson Hall, David Horovitch, Wil Johnson, John Macmillan, Graham McTavish, Ewan Mitchell, Theo Nate, Matthew Needham, Bill Paterson, Phia Saban, Gavin Spokes, and Savannah Steyn. Martin and Ryan Condal serve as co-creators on the series. Miguel Sapochnik and Condal are showrunners, and the pair also serve as executive producers along with Martin, Sara Hess, Jocelyn Diaz, Vince Gerardis and Ron Schmidt. Clare Kilner and Geeta Vasant Patel also direct the series. Greg Yaitanes is director and co-executive producer. Game of Thrones and Westworld composer Ramin Djawadi scored the series.
