Rainbow Rainbow is excited to partner with Santa Fe Glass Works to bring you a Stained Glass Suncatcher Workshop!
Come learn how to create an upcycled stained glass masterpiece! Over the course of this 4-hour beginner-friendly workshop, you'll choose from ten dope designs to make a one-of-a-kind stained glass suncatcher. You will choose your pieces of glass from a variety of colors and textures of recycled art glass—then you'll cut, grind, foil, and solder your bespoke work of art.
What to wear:
Please wear closed-toed shoes and long pants (or garment covering your legs), and bring a long-sleeved layer to throw on when we are soldering (no crop tops). You may get a little wet (just water), and nothing will stain your clothing. We will provide all necessary PPE: leather or synthetic work gloves, nitrile gloves, N-95 masks, fume extractors, and safety glasses/goggles, but you are encouraged to bring your own well-fitting work gloves or safety goggles if you have them.
Design choices:
Please email the instructor at veronica@santafeglassworks.com to view all 8 design options and to be able to choose one before the workshop begins—otherwise a design will be chosen for you.
(PLEASE SEE ON WEBSITE)
We look forward to seeing you!
