Estranged brothers navigate an unexpected turn of events,
Truths bubble to the surface as two old friends read the day’s news,
The paths of childhood buddies converge in a prison visitation room,
A young man receives an unforeseen gift from someone he loves…

Seeds runs Thursday May 16 through Sunday May 19. Performances are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2:00pm. All tickets are $15.

The pieces (How Long Do We Have?, Current Events, When We Were 9, and Something Lovely) are written and directed by Ironweed Artistic Director and founder Scott Harrison. Scott has directed Ironweed’s productions of ‘night, Mother, Doubt: A Parable, The Trip to Bountiful, American Buffalo, Our Town, Death of a Salesman, The Crucible, and Hidden Treasure: A Georgian Immigrant’s Story. He recently appeared as Stan in Sweat at the Santa Fe Playhouse, and in several roles in JQA at the New Mexico Actors Lab.

The production features Brent Black (The Children), Kent Kirkpatrick (JQA), Leslie Harrell Dillen (Seascape), Kat Sawyer (Sworn to Water), Josh Horton (Sweat), Alexander Lane (Richard III), Jonathan Harrell (Mariana Pineda), Gay Nathan (Our Town) and Matt O’Reilly. Sound design by long-time Ironweed Sound Designer Dan Piburn (Water by the Spoonful) and Lighting Design by Monique Lacoste (The Aliens).
