.
Bishop’s Lodge & FaraHNHeight Fine Art have collaborated to create "NORTHERN NEW MEXICO SURVEY" a curated Fine ArtExpo by artist Albert Hopkins at the Historic Lamy's Chapel at Bishops Lodge.
.
A collection of six Albert Hopkins' larger Northern New Mexico survey paintings along with a dozen or so of his smaller plain air vignettes will be available for viewing and purchase in the Historic Lamy Chapel at Bishops Lodge.
.
Albert Hopkins paintings of Northern New Mexico can speak to the human heart and connect us to the enchanted tierra (earth). They stir the imagination, both spiritually and emotionally. "I paint landscapes to be alive in nature's majestic beauty, if I am fortunate enough to get the nuances.

The viewer will see and feel the pleasure that caused that color, to make that mark in that place at the right time in the finished work. I strive to capture with realistic artistry the lucid, lively color, that fleeting moment of sunshine and shadow, the sounds of spring, the autumn breeze, the first snows chilling glow." -AH.

Albert Hopkins trained at the New York Art Students League and the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Art and has always felt formal training provides only the fundamentals to create fine art. The remaining elements come from the artist's own vision and creativity. Being attracted to the honesty of the natural world helps Hopkins create paintings that move individuals emotionally through his focus on light, color and form.

If he succeeds in his articulation, his paintings are then a success. Albert’s paintings were recently identified in Southwest Art Magazine as being highly collectible and an excellent addition to any art investment portfolio. His works can be found in galleries such as FaraHNHeight Fine Art in Taos, Santa Fe, various locations in Colorado, and the East coast. His paintings are collected worldwide.
.
