The Inappropriate Authorities carry out their duties as emissaries of British New Wave scene titans The Police with verve and vigor, blending punk, reggae, and jazz with a healthy dose of rock. In the words of (Police guitarist) Andy Summers, “Being in that setting, y'know, I come from a lot of different places harmonically — as had Sting. We were, y'know, we were a bit more than, like, three-chord folk musicians. Y'know, we we're pretty sophisticated with what we knew. But, again, we were in a rock context and so, y'know, whatever we were doing, we were going to make it rock.”
Moby Dick has a simple goal: to do justice to some of the most influential, challenging and generally kick ass songs in the history of hard rock... In short, to pay tribute to the legacy of the World's Greatest Rock Band, Led Zeppelin.
