CIRCLE ON BLACK

Circle on Black are a new original Santa Fe band that consists of seasoned players- Michael Smith (Drums/Percussion), Roland Ostheim (Guitar/Vox) and Dylan McDowell (Bass/Vox).

*A power trio, diving into dynamic song structures, with raw and psychedelic tendencies; they are a unique blend of creative musical styles.

Circle on Black are an amalgamation of players whom have played and currently perform in various local Santa Fe bands, such as: Cloacas, Future Scars, Holy Garden District, Babelshack and previously, Bodies and We Drew Lightning. Fusing together, they have used the high desert muse and atmosphere to create a new sound and vibe expanding through the northern New Mexico music scene.

PSIRENS

PSIRENS is the ever-changing collaborative project of solo vocalist Paris Mancini. Her performance consists of looping percussive bass and many intricate vocal melodies while sampling noise and beats. Her sound has been described as "cinematic" and "ethereal." She has been compared to St Vincent, Reggie Watts, Bjork, CocoRosie and TuneYards. She has performed in Latin America, toured extensively across the United States and a touch in Eastern Europe. She has released 8 studio albums, 2 live albums and has been actively playing as PSIRENS since 2009.
