Max & Brittney Flinn’s sound can be described as neo-traditional country meets Texas roots. Their chemistry on stage and authentic songwriting has a way of persuading even the most fervent critics of country music. They’ve performed with acts such as Robert Earl Keen, Ryan Bingham, Eli Young Band, Hal Ketchum, Cory Morrow, Kevin Fowler, David Allan Coe, The Bellamy Brothers and more at venues all over the country.
Max is a full-time singer/songwriter who divides his time between Nashville and Houston. In Nashville he collaborates with hit songwriters for his publisher “Three Hounds Music” and back home in Texas he performs live with his band at dancehalls, bars, and everything in between. His wife Brittney Flinn is a full-time 8th grade math teacher from a small town in northern Minnesota who moved to Texas to escape the cold and try life in the big city. Brittney, humble in nature, didn’t reveal to Max she could sing until weeks into dating and now they share the stage often. In addition to their original songs, they perform many classic country duets from artists such as Johnny Cash & June Carter, Dolly Parton & Porter Wagoner, John Prine & Iris Dement, and many more.
