Dickie Cordova introduced La Pleve Band in the summer of 1989 at the Taos New Mexico Fiestas.

Since then, he has shared the stage with such names as Flaco Jimenez of the Texas Tornados, Al Hurricane Sr., Al Hurricane Jr., Darren Cordova, Roberto Griego, Fishbone and many others.

The group has performed at the New Mexico State Fair and the Colorado State Fair as well as many venues throughout New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Texas. Dickie Cordova along with his band, La Pleve , present a variety of styles of music which includes, Spanish Rancheras, Cumbia, Valse, Country, Oldies, Rock N Roll and Originals written by Dickie Cordova himself.

Dickie has recorded and produced six CD’s and is currently recording a new release. Dickie Cordova enjoys performing for audiences everywhere. He was born and raised under the sun kissed skies of the Taos Valley and he is deeply rooted in his community. He loves his Familia, Gente, fellow Taosenos, New Mexico and his fans.
