A Revival of Santa Fe’s Iconic Latin Dance Scene

Frontera Bugalu will host Club Alegría alongside Alma and DJ Luz Skylarker and promises to deliver an electric performance—reminiscent of Latin dancehalls that inspired the original Club Alegría. Known for their dynamic fusion of cumbia, salsa, and reggaeton, Frontera Bugalu will curate the Club Alegría series once each month.

The new Club Alegría at Tumbleroot will be more than just a series—it will be a tribute to the beloved Club Alegría, which hosted generations of latin bands, dancers, and music lovers since the 1960s. With a commitment to honoring the venue’s legacy, Tumbleroot’s Club Alegría will feature a rotating lineup of live Latin bands, musicians, and DJs keeping the tradition alive with performances from established and emerging artists in the Latin music scene.
