Join us for the closing reception of “I AM” at the IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts Museum Store on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
This exhibition features works created by Indigenous youth from the Pueblo and Apache communities of New Mexico through a poem and photography workshop.
The pieces explore the experience of navigating life as an Indigenous youth today while celebrating and preserving Native American heritage and culture.
The exhibition is on view at the Museum Store Lloyd Kiva New Gallery at the Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (MoCNA) from December 4, 2024, through January 17, 2025. “I AM” is funded by the Art Bridges “Access for All” fund, a grant that provides free museum admission every Friday through 2026 and supports MoCNA’s work with Pueblo communities in New Mexico through workshops and tours.
We hope to see you at the closing reception to celebrate the work of these talented Indigenous youth.
