Japanese Yokai Train
Sky Railway has partnered with the International Folk Art Market and the Museum of International Folk Art to exhibit a Japanese Yōkai artist, Kono Junya for this one-time only event, The Japanese Yōkai Train!
In Japanese folklore, the spirits of the dead and monsters that appear in the mountains and sea are called yōkai. Join us to celebrate "ou-maga-doki (time to meet yōkai) and have your own encounter with these folklore spirits!
Kono Junya is a featured artist in, and collaborator on the Museum of International Folk Art exhibition, “Yokai: Ghosts & Demons of Japan,” as well as a 1st-time artist to the International Folk Art Market, and performer for Sky Railway.
The Japanese Yōkai Train departs and returns to the Santa Fe Depot. Each ticket includes a seat in our enclosed train cars, a complimentary champagne welcome as the adventure begins, and live entertainment! Additional snacks and drinks can be purchased.
